I enjoy everything Gena has written.. even the many stories that we're unfinished/rewritten and ended up as a crumpled piece of paper on the floor. I wanted to pick those balls of paper's up, smooth out the wrinkles and beg for for her to finish the story..grrr!..
We have the same since of humor. My favorite Lord's are also William and Strider..I know we would be BFF' s. To spend a day inside her head..omg! It would be a combination of Cedar Point amusement park and fifty shades of Lord's...lol
I really enjoyed when William was interviewing the Lord's. I found myself laughing and talking out loud and didn't care when my family looked at me like I was Looney. Well, because I am.
I'm so happy the Lord's women have been playing bigger roles in the stories. And enjoyed Gilly interviewing the women. I just wish the interview was longer and more detailed like the Lord's.
The love scenes are hot! Not complaining. I think all men should be required to read these books and learn a lesson from the Lord's on how to properly please a woman. ;-) But I've noticed that each Lord makes love the exact same way. I mean they all have different personalities. I would think the style of their love making would be slightly different and as unique as their characters. Maybe it's just me, but after the fourth book I noticed the same pattern. So now I no longer look forward to the bow-chickie-bow-wow! and just speed read through it.
I can hardly wait till the next Lord of the Underworld book comes out in July 2013. Ugh!.. that's 6 months away. To this die hard fan, that's like waiting 600 Underworld year's.

I bought this book expecting a little more. Was rather disappointed. If you have read all the books, it is really no need to buy this one. I would give it a skip.
I am a huge fan of anything vamp / paranormal and of Gena Showalter. She does not disappoint in any of her books. I have almost all of her books, and series and will continue to be a happy repeat customer!
Great little read for fans of the LOTU series. Entertaining with a few "fill in the blank" moments and some "slice of life" vignettes.
Not a lot of substance, but all in all, a good filler for the series.
This was not quite what I expected it to be, but I enjoyed it very much. It started with an intervene between Gena and a friend author that was quite witty. Then had several other parts that where all informative, different and silly.
This is worth it just for the"interviews" William is conducting. LOL!
I've read it for like 5 times? LOL. William the-ever-randy rules! Who can ask the Lords those stupid-sounding-but-witty-and-honest-to-gods-due -to-curiosity questions? Only William can do such thing. And who's the only person that can rattle William? No other than the 17 years old human female named Gilly. So cute. )
One of my favorites was the interviews done by none other than "that irreverent whelp William the Ever Randy." He is so arrogant and self absorbed, yet he does care for those demon carrying warriors. The warriors are all so occupied with finding Pandora 's box, existing, and totally falling for their soul mates (who are all as broken as the warriors). The interview makes it so apparent they are lovers as well as fighters.
